My first attempt in creating a 'mini-comic' was titled "YES! GAS!". I learned about mini-comics by reading a book by Scott McCloud. Some comic shops have a 'mini-comic day', where customers can come in and create their own during a one day workshop. Check out my 'events' page to learn how I've incorporated 'mini-comics' into my own workshop for schools.

'MINE' was my second mini-comic. This was created while at the University of Kentucky. A short film accompanied the handout of this mini-comic during a UK sponsored event. Limited number printed . No longer in print.
Mini-Comics have been around now for a bit, but not a lot of people have caught on to the idea. Basically, a 'mini-comic' is a home made comic-book. They come in all sorts of sizes, some color, some not. Anyone can create their own 'mini-comic'. Shown above in the larger picture, as well as the photo gallery, are pictures of my creation of the mini-comic titled 'MINE'. I've incorporated the steps of creating a 'mini-comic' into my "Sequential Art Workshop" for schools (k-8). Learn more about that workshop by visiting the page here on my website called "School Events". If you are interested in creating your own mini-comic now, you can! I've included a link here to help you learn more. Just click on the icons below.
'Gator Love' was the smallest mini-comic that I've ever created, both in size, and in the page count. This mini-comic was my first attempt in understanding how the pages would go together after print.

'Intergalactic Jerks', or, 'The Return of Toby', was my first "Accordion Mini-Comic". Below is each of the panels set up so that you can see them all, but the book itself actually opens up like an accordion. There are no pages... not really... just a series of interconnected drawings. Sequential Art at it's best!
